This is home to a young newlywed couple that bought their first home in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. Despite the house had really good bones it desperately needed a kitchen & fireplace renovation among other projects.

The clients were pretty aligned in the direction they wanted to take this project so it made the process very smooth. Selecting the finishes was fun & relatively quick with not a lot of back and forth.

The challenge with this fireplace was definitely the texture.  The mantel was removed at the end so with the first coat applied of cement the mantel was still noticeable. The crew had to apply two additional coats to make it look perfectly even.
