When I first spoke with the client, she shared a surprising, yet not-too-surprising, story about the kids' bathroom. Two years ago, she was working with a contractor who left things unfinished and in pretty poor conditions. Being very pregnant at the time, the client felt lost, especially as she was designing this bathroom for her kids. After that terrible experience, she decided to pause for a year until she had the mental strength to tackle the project again. That's when our team stepped in.

The clients, originally from Japan, desired a bathroom that reflected their taste that reminded them their origins as well as their current home in California. This bathroom perfectly embodies a Japandi style, blending Scandinavian and minimalist design, well adapted to feel a bit beachy, relaxed, and yet luxurious. Earthy tones and natural textures prevail in the space. The abundant natural light, combined with wood-looking tiles, casts a luxurious spa-like, complemented by the graze lighting that highlights the beautiful textures of the floor-to-ceiling tiles.

We couldn't be happier with the end result of this bathroom. It is simply beautiful!
