This was a very special room for me to decorate because it's my son's nursery room. Being pregnant with my first child was one of the most wonderful feelings I have ever experienced and wanted to make sure the room reflected that. Even though the room isn't too big, I managed to accommodate everything I wanted. It's very important to get even more creative in small spaces!

For the base, I used s neutral palette with blue, gray & cream tones to let the books & art pop. Speaking of the art, I wanted to incorporate something from our family roots given we all are from different countries. Hubby from Spain, myself from Mexico, and our baby boy from the US. I made the art out of recycled newspaper with our cities most well-known landmarks.

Every time I walk into this room it gives me the exact feeling I wanted to accomplish; cheerfulness yet calmness.
