This Oakland home has some of the most incredible views of the San Francisco Bay, so we designed the interiors to complement the natural backdrop. The living room is bright and airy, with organic accents and modern, functional pieces like leather and wood accent chairs, a reeded coffee table with storage, and a comfy sofa on a durable, washable rug—perfect for everyday living with a view.
In the primary bedroom, deep blue custom paneling adds depth, paired with warm wood beams and modern furniture with soft, natural lines. The seating area completes the room, creating a cozy extension of the suite. The blue and wood palette provides a timeless, bold feel.
The primary bathroom is a showstopper. The freestanding tub sits beneath a stunning tiled arched niche with lit shelving—a luxurious focal point that adds both function and softness. A skylight fills the space with natural light, highlighting the custom rift oak vanity, black marble countertops with gold veining, and brass fixtures. Dual integrated sinks and wall-mounted brass faucets offer a clean, streamlined look. A built-in makeup vanity with dedicated storage adds everyday convenience, while the finishing touches in the black-framed mirrors and graze lighting give the room a relaxing feel that’s still rich in detail.
Downstairs, the mudroom features bold green cabinetry and wood cedar shiplap, creating a warm yet striking first impression. A gym space with a large mirror makes the room feel bigger while staying functional. The green cabinetry continues in the laundry room, where fun hexagon tile floors, a pewter sink, and contrasting white countertops elevate the space. Just down the hall is the walk-in wine cellar, with space for 976 bottles—an ideal spot for any wine enthusiast to showcase their collection.
